Mrs. Lilly Fohy Landrom was boron August 2, 1927, to the late Mr. Homer Cowser and the late Lottie
Finley Cowser in Cherokee County, Alabama.
On Friday, February 2, 2018, she departed this life at her home in Pollards Bend, Alabama. After fighting
a uncomplaining battle against illness, peace and comfort was found in death.
She was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Mr. James M. Landrom on March 31, 1946. To this
union four children were born.
She united with Providence Missionary Baptist Church of Leesburg, Alabama; where she served as
Sunday School Teacher, Church Clerk, Missionary Ministry President, Deaconess, Member of Senior
Choir and worked diligently with The Spring Creek District. She was dedicated to the church as well as
the community until illness prevented her from serving.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Homer Cowser, her beloved husband Mr. James M.
Landrom, sister, Finous Glass and three grandchildren: Rodney Horton, Renita Landrom and Anthony
Horton.
She leaves to cherish her memories four loving and devoted children: Julia Cantrell, Pontiac, MI; Janet
McClure, Valdosta, GA; James Wayne (Bobbie) Landrom, Gadsden, AL and Anita Joy Horton, Leesburg,
AL; stepdaughter: Emma (James) Ammons, Cleveland, OH; sister: Billy (George) Drake, Thompson,
GA; brother-in-law: Walter Billingsley, Birmingham, AL; Five grandchildren: Timothy (Tamika)
Crawbey; Jeffrey (Tara) Landrom; Terra (Douglas) Guyton; Marlin (Brandi) McClure; Chanda McClure;
Two chosen grandchildren: Marlon (Von) Cook and Clifford Borden; twelve great-grandchildren: Jeffrey
(Rebekah); Morgan; Ayana; Jayden; Jared; Keona; Jaiden; Keegan; Camden; Marlon Jr.; Lauren and
Clifford

And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
