Zell Marie (Johnson) King-Gadson

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us in mourning the passing of Zell Marie Johnson King Gadson, of Gadsden, AL, who traded time for eternity on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the age of 74.  Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Zell Marie Johnson King Gadson was born on April 15, 1949, to the late Joseph Sidney and Suezell Johnson in Etowah County.

Zell received her education at Carver High School in Gadsden, AL.

Zell M. Johnson met and married Johnny Frank King in 1967.  They had one son, James Allen King.

Zell entered into eternal rest at Coosa Valley Health & Rehab.

Zell was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Suezell Johnson; and brother Joe Freddick Johnson.

Zell leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband, Wallace Gadson; son, James Allen King (Shenika Lockett) of Gadsden, AL; grandchildren, Mia (Rudy) Rigsby, Gadsden, AL, Shacarie Bufford of Albertville, AL; siblings, a devoted sister, Florence Ann Wilson of Gadsden, AL; devoted brothers, Mark (Rebecca) Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tommy (Gloria) Johnson of Gadsden, AL; sister-in-law, Josephine Harriel and Sherri Gadson both of Gadsden, AL; loving nieces and nephews, Joe Freddrick Johnson, Tomona Johnson both of Cleveland, OH, James, and Teeja Wilson, both of Gadsden, AL, Shekeda (Jerrien) Young of Virginia, Natasha (Melvin) Poston of Tennessee, Mark C.
