At an early age, Linda confessed Christ at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was baptized by the late Pastor T. P. Walker.

She was educated in the Etowah County School System, graduating with the class of 1970 of Etowah High School.

Linda unselfishly was a caregiver to her late mother and the late Mrs. Edna Stanley.  She was also a caregiver to the late Mr. Oscar L. Hayes, until her health began to fail her.
