Ms. Carlotta Camille Scott was born February 3, 1958 in Gadsden, Al to David Scott and Helen Davis.

Carlotta graduated from Gadsden High School and went on to further her education in the nursing program at Jacksonville University.

Carlotta worked for the Etowah County Health Department in home health until her health began to fail.

On Saturday, February 4, 2012, Carlotta's pain and suffering was silence when she heard the trumpet sound of the Lord and answered his call to a heavenly reward.She now joins her daughter: Jalyndria "Peaches" Byers-Scott; father: David "Billy" Scott; grandparents: Tommy Scott, Norman and Eliza Davis; and uncle: Don C Davis is the heavens above.

Though her passing brings sorrow, her legacy will be celebrated by her children: Demetrius (Thyias) Scott, Enterprise, AL., Lanehqua Scott, and Nicole Scott, Gadsden; grandson: Demetrius Scott II, Enterprise, AL.; mother: Helen Davis, Indianapolis, IN.; brother: Shaune (Lisha) Shelby, Carmel, IN; nephews: Shaune R., Rylan C., and Reid A. Shelby; uncles: Charles ( Marsla) Davis and Norman Davis; aunt-in-law: Terry Davis; and a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Rev. Elijah Fowler, Officiating, burial in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Leesburg. 

Public viewing will begin 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning at the church with family hour begining at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
