It saddens us to know that we have lost Scottie. It also saddens us to know that we had lost touch with a special friend and cousin. Scottie and I always had a smile for each other and could talk about anything. I found Scottie's obituary by accident. I realized that while y'all were celebrating Scottie's life, we were celebrating Mom's 83rd birthday on 14 Oct 2014. We will always remember Scottie with love and fondness, and we share in your sorrow at Scottie's passing.

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort in the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). In God's word we find the promise that we can be reunited with our loved ones (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15). The Bible tells us where this happy reunion will take place (Psalm 37: 11, 29; Matthew 5:5). We are told why we die (Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12), and that Jehovah, the God of the Bible, will end death forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4).
