Amelia Glover was born in Akron, Ohio on June 2, 1945 to the late Troy and Velma Douthard Glover.

Amelia professed Christ at an early age at Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. L.W. Story. Later in her adult life, she became a charter member at Fellowship Baptist Church under Rev. Willie Gene Davis   .  Amelia made Mission Baptist Church her final church home under the leadership of Rev. Grady Robinson, Jr.

Tiny went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Freddie Glover, Gregory Glover, Gary Glover and husband, Virgil Collins.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Rita Moten, Birmingham, AL; son, George C. Robinson; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Joyce Hardy, Buffalo, NY, Rita Gibbs, Attalla, AL; two brothers, Troy Glover, Jr., Bronx, NY, Louis Glover (Estella), Gadsden, AL; special friends, Calvin and Ruby Stamps, Gadsden, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many special friends too numerous to name.
