Janice Yvette Huffman was born on September 2, 1954 in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama. Janice was born to her loving parents, the late Emily Faye Ellison Huffman and John Henry Huffman.

Janice was educated in the Gadsden City School System, attending Gadsden High School.

At an early age, Janice united with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and when time permitted, she participated in various auxiliaries until her untimely death.

Janice was affectionately known as “Tee” by those who loved her dearly. Tee had adopted many many nieces and nephews. Janice was loved by all she met and all who met her enjoyed her hilarious, comical stories.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emily Huffman.

Tee leaves to cherish her memories to her brothers, John Henry (Desiree) Huffman, Stephen Karl (Christie) Huffman, Gadsden, AL; her sisters, Karen Huffman, Gadsden, AL, Frances (Joe) Owen, El Paso, TX, Linda Gail Byers, Gadsden, AL, Patricia (Steve) Tuck, Atlanta, GA; her niece-raised as a daughter-Kedra Reynolds, Gadsden, AL; two aunts, Mabel (Willie) McAdams, Juanita (John) Stewart, Douglasville, GA; uncle, Solomon Williams, Anniston, AL; nephews, Karlton, Me’Keal and Shaquille, Gadsden, AL; chosen brothers, Stephen Reynolds, Joseph Johnson; the Woody, Rowe, Tarver, Whorton families that she made her family; various extended families; close friends and neighbor, Rosita Hall; all of her special children she loved and raised (known as Tee’s babies); a host of special cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the Keystone Family.

At the end of each life is a legacy of love and memories. Hold tight to those memories…. Lean on each other for support. And look to God’s Word, the Bible, for comfort and strength. 1 Peter 5:7 encourages; “Throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.”
