Stanley Jacob Winston-Breezy was born May 5, 1995 to the parentage of Theresa Jacob and Stanley DeWayne Winston in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama.

Stanley confessed Christ at an early age and united with South 11th Tabernacle under Pastor Don Arnold. He later attended Abundant Life Church with his big brother, Joshua Jacob and his family, under the leadership of Bishop Terry Jones.

Stanley attended Gadsden City High School. During his childhood years, his family affectionately called him ‘Jake’. He was a proud employee of Popeye’s on East Meighan Blvd. Many of its patrons would frequent this location, just to run into him at work.

‘Breezy’, as so many knew him, never met a stranger and was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Stanley was always ready to help others and extremely kind to the elderly-and anyone who was in his path, received his joy and laughter that exuded from his heart.

Stanley was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Jacob; father, Stanley
DeWayne Winston; grandparents, Charles & Mary Lou Wright, Fred & Betty Winston; uncle, Edward Winston and aunt, Barbara Jones.

‘Jake’ leaves his most cherished and loving memories to his father, Stanley D. Winston(deceased 09/07/17); two brothers, Joshua (Lesa) Jacob; Aaron D. Winston (Jasmine); two nephews, Manbelin Hudaleston, Daniel Jacob; one niece, Sharah Jacob; uncles, Mr. & Mrs. Harry Wright,  Nate Jones, Fred (Inez) Winston, Harry (Wanda) Winston, Darryl (Tamika) Hamilton; aunts, Helen (Larry) Poole, Angela Winston, Earnestine Bufford, Irene Bufford; great uncle, Henry Brim; great aunt, Lucille (Freddie) Timmons; God parents, James and Vanessa Wilson, Shalon Hardwick; special brother, Joel Hardwick, Jr.; special sister, Khidjah Kelly and a host of cousins, relatives and a great number of friends.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to your family for the loss of your loved one. The loss of someone in death can be a very difficult time for families. Grief is a feeling that everyone deals with it in their own way. Jesus reacted to the death of his friend Lazarus even though he had the power to bring him back to life. (John 11:33-35) By resurrecting Lazarus and others Jesus demonstrated on a small scale what he will do as the King of God’s Kingdom worldwide in fulfillment of Jehovah’s promise at Revelation 21:3-5.
