~ Mary Louise Parker Green~


Mrs. Mary Louise was born in the Spring of 1945 on March 23rd.  She was born to the late Charlie Parker and Susie Warren in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama.

Mary accepted Christ at an early age and was united with the Friendship Baptist Church of Attalla, under the leadership of Rev. Lilly.  Mary lived a full and prosperous life, and Friendship remained her home until her demise.

Mary attended the Attalla City School System, graduating from Norris High School in 1964.

Soon after, Mary met the love of her life, Carl, and they were united in Holy Matrimony on April 18, 1966. To this wonderful union, three daughters were born, Carla, Tangelia and Stephanie.

Mary departed this life to get her crown on Sunday, December 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Green; her mother, Susie Warren; father, Charlie Parker; brother, Wilson Parker and sister, Mayola Parker Hicks.

Mary leaves her most cherished and beloved memories to three devoted and loving daughters, Carla Denise Green, Gadsden, Tangelia Renia Green, Stephanie Nicole Green, both of Attalla; her loving granddaughter, Samiya Nicole Smith, Attalla; stepdaughter, Gina (Carl) Kelley, Gadsden; two loving sisters, Mary Ann Parker, Gadsden, Shirley Kimble, Attalla; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Sue Mostella, Gadsden, Mary (Rev. Preston) Nix, Attalla, Doris Green, Gadsden; brothers-in-law, Charles Hicks, Attalla, Amos Green (A.W.), Georgia, Haywood Green, Scottsboro, AL; stepmother, Evelyn Parker; step sisters-in-law, Cynthia Malone, Della Parker, Minnie Parker; step brothers-in-law, Anthony Parker, Felton Parker, Donavon (Wanda) Parker, Reginald (Chanetta) Parker,  Pastor Charlie (Tanesa) Parker, Pastor James (Patricia) Parker, S.C.; special nieces, Kimberly Jones, Rondanika Jones, LaTonya Kimble; special nephews, Marcus Nix, Tyrone Nix, Derrick Nix; special friends, Robin Palmore, Linda Pearson, Antoinette Benson, Sharon Cameron Thomas, Sam Smith, John Smith (Buddy Boy), Paul Wyatt; special great-nieces, Rayana Coleman, Payton Jones; special great-nephew, Cameron Stallworth; special grandkids, Whittney Walker, Terri Walker; special cousins, Mary Alice Russell, Sheryl Boley, Neisee (Neet) Williams, Angenetta Boley Smith and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
