Denise Audrey Sandridge was born in the fall of 1968. On October 16th her parents, Wallace Clay and Catherine Jones Sandridge welcomed their oldest child into this world.

Denise had a fun and happy childhood growing up with her two younger brothers, Wallace and Billy. All were reared and showered with love, surrounded by family and friends.

Denise accepted Christ at an early age and lived a quiet, humble life.

Denise attended school in the Gadsden City School System, finishing at Gadsden High School, Home of the Tigers.

Later in life, Denise relocated to Georgia, working a number of years as a rehabilitation counselor, before moving back home and settling here in Gadsden.

Grief can be so hard, but our cherished memories help us cope. Hold tight to those memories…. Lean on each other for support…. And look to God’s word the Bible, for comfort and strength. James 4:8 encourages; “Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you.”
