Mrs. Debra Ann Harris Speigner

 A Time To Be Born:

Debra Ann Harris Speigner was born May 1, 1961 to the late Leronza and  Lena Lee Harris, Sr. in Gadsden,  Etowah County, Alabama.

A Time To Plant:

Debra attended Emma Samson High School, graduating with the Class of 1979. Soon after, she matriculated to Jacksonville State University & Birmingham Southern College, as well.

Debra confessed Christ at an early age, joining Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.

A Time To Love:

On December 15, 1982 Debra was united in Holy matrimony to John Speigner.

A Time To Die:

Debra transitioned to eternity on Saturday, June 16, 2018 after a courageous fight with various illnesses.

A Time To Cry:

Debra leaves those to cherish her loving memories, her children, Marlin (LaTisha) Harris, Tuscaloosa, AL, Brandi (Reginald) Feagin, Calera, AL, Brandon Speigner, Birmingham, AL; brothers, Leon (Bertha) Harris, Montmomery, AL, Calvin Harris, Otis Harris, Leronza Harris, Jr., all of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Dajah Harris, Tyshya Watts, MaLena Harris, Londyn Harris; special friend, Curtis Brown; all members of the Harris Family and a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

A Time Of Peace:

Debra is now at peace, resting in the faith & love of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Our hearts are saddened by her departure. She will be cherished & loved by her family and friends forever.

Above all, God loved her best.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to your family for the loss of your loved one. The loss of someone in death can be a very difficult time for families. Grief is a feeling that everyone deals with it in their own way. Jesus reacted to the death of his friend Lazarus even though he had the power to bring him back to life. (John 11:33-35) By resurrecting Lazarus and others Jesus demonstrated on a small scale what he will do as the King of God’s Kingdom worldwide in fulfillment of Jehovah’s promise at Revelation 21:3-5.
