Lonnie Lee Williams was born, in the fall of 1948, to the parentage of Henry and Pearl Hill Williams. He grew up in Ohatchee, Calhoun County, Alabama, where he was raised with his five siblings.

Lonnie attended school in Ohatchee, Alabama, completing high school and later attending college. Lonnie completed his education at Job Corp where he received his diploma in Auto Mechanics.

Lonnie grew up in a family, with strong Christian values, and accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, at an early age.

Lonnie Lee Williams was a loving husband, a kind neighbor, a loyal friend and a strong believer in God.

Lonnie was a hard worker and used his learned trade to work in maintenance until his retirement. In his spare time Lonnie found pleasure in fishing, and enjoyed just sitting on the boat docks enjoying the view.  He also found pleasure in tinkering with his favorite toy; his truck, fixing and repairing it whenever necessary.

In his downtime at home, Lonnie enjoyed being around his grandchildren and great grandchildren, catching up on his Western movies, and watching his favorite game show, Wheel of Fortune.

Lonnie passed away at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his wife and family on August 25th. He was welcomed home by his parents, Henry & Pearl Williams; brothers, Howard Hill, Sonny Mostella; three sisters, Mosaline Williams, Willie Mae Mostella, Bernice Mack, one daughter; Amy Williams, and a special nephew, Tommy Collins.

Those left to cherish his memory is a loving and devoted wife, Pamela Williams; one son, Jeffrey Williams; daughter, Amy Williams; one stepson, Roderick Loyd; one stepdaughter, Arkala Loyd; grandchildren, Carlton Baise, Ethan Loyd, Shiquita Singleton, Maleia Pilazo, Ryan Loyd, Ashton Loyd; great grandchildren, Necaeh McCant, Nivea McCant; special niece, Felicia Turner; special nephews, Hugh Mostella, David Collins; special daughter, LaToya Brewster; five brothers-in-law, Robert Walker, Donald (Tosha) Wood, Chris Wood, Terry Wood, Gerald (Amanda) Wood; six sisters-in-law, Fannie Wood, Dollie Walker, Karen (Joseph) Traylor, Janet Walker, Helen Walker, Sharon Walker and a host of cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
