Quentin Dupree, 51 formerly of Gadsden, passed on Monday,  November 26th in Georgia

Quentin Lovell DuPree, affectionately known as “Quent” or “Quincy”, was born August 6, 1967 in Gadsden, Alabama.

Quincy confessed Christ and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor John M. Woods at First Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama City, Alabama.

He was educated in the Chicago and Gadsden City school systems, graduating from Emma Sansom High School in 1986.

Later, Quincy moved to Dalton, Georgia in 1998 after being embraced by a former co-worker and friend, Fred Lockett and his family. There he was employed by Shaw Carpet Mill and later employed with the City of Dalton for over 16 years.

Quentin was an easy-going, laid back guy who loved watching wrestling and listening to music. He also enjoyed talking-for countless hours-on the phone with one of his child-hood friends, Kelvin Pierce. He enjoyed their conversations immensely.

Quentin entered into eternal peace on Monday, November 26, 2018.
