Harry Charles Gregory, affectionately known as “JoBob”, was born March 15, 1948, to the late Alex and Irene “Moore” Gregory.

 

Harry received his primary education in the DeKalb, County school system, and attended Gregory High School. Upon his retirement, he labored for many years as an employee of Vulcraft, in Fort Payne, AL. He was currently working for John Bakers Farms, until his health declined 2 months ago.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Alex Gregory, Willie Lee Gregory; one sister, Cora Lee Williams, and a special friend, Kathleen “Kat” Nash.

 

He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Christian ‘’Tyree” (Joanna) Nash; daughter, Connie Orr; grandchildren, Simon Dutton, Jr., Mackenzie Dutton, Madison Dutton, Tatyana Teague, Laila Orr, Trenton Nash, Travon Nash; great grandchild, Niyah; one brother, Bobby Gregory, Collinsville, AL.; four siters, Betty Cowart, Mary Gregory, both of Clearwater, FL, Margaret Mconnell, Donzella Gregory, both of Collinsville, AL; a special niece, Sharon Irene Gregory; one sister-in-law, Margaret Bowers Gregory; a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Celebration of life service will be 2p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Collinsville, Alabama. Visitation with the family will be 6p.m. to 7p.m., Friday, March 8, 2019, at the funeral home.
