Christine Hutchinson Fife was born on July 15, 1946 to James Henry and Zannie Ree Carter Hutchinson Sr. in Lanett, Chambers County, Alabama. She graduated from Cobb High School. Job opportunities brought them back to Alabama. Christine worked at Trend Mills of Rome, Georgia and So- Sew Styles Textile plant for several years. In 1999, Christine stepped out on faith and pursued her real passion. She became a small business owner and created Flowers by Chris where she served the community at large designing floral arrangements for various functions.

Christine was a long time member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she participated in the choir, usher board and decorating committee over the years. She had a love for people and a greater love for Christ. She was a strong woman of faith. She was always willing to help someone in need.
