Myron Frank Douglas was born on July 19, 1957 in Centre, Cherokee County, Alabama to the union of the late Franklin and Almeta Brooks Douglas. He confessed faith in Christ in his youth and united with St. Mary’s United Methodist Church. His formal education was received in the Cherokee County School System and graduated from Cherokee County High School Class of 1975.

Throughout most of Myron’s life he did plumbing, carpentry and mechanic work. He was employed with Lambert’s Construction for some of this time. He was a handy person to have around and was always there for you if you needed something. “Bud” had a special way of getting everyone’s attention and impacting their day.

Myron's time ended on this side of glory on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Dekalb Regional Medical Center. He will be forever remembered by his son, Jeffery Douglas, Centre, AL; two grandchildren; brother, Darin (Bonita) Douglas, Centre, AL; sister, Frances Bachelor, Gadsden, AL; nephews, Nicholas Douglas, Detriot, MI, Christian Douglas, Centre, AL; uncle, John L. Douglas, Centre, AL; aunts, Mildred Lankford, Saginaw, MI, Vinnie Sue Douglas Foster, Gadsden, AL; a host of cousins and friends.

Graveside Service will be 2:00p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery ~Woods Bend Community~ Centre, AL. Viewing will be the same day at the church from 1:00p.m. until time for the graveside.
