Bertha Lee (Henderson) Goble

It is with heartfelt sympathy we announce the passing of Bertha Goble of Gadsden, AL, who traded time for eternity on Monday, August 5, 2024, at the age of 85.  Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayer during this time.

Our beloved Bertha Goble (85), born on October 17, 1938, in Attalla, Alabama, passed away on August 5, 2024. She was the daughter of Ernest Lee Henderson and Nanny Pearl Mann Henderson.

Bertha is survived by six of her seven children: Wendell Goble (Thersa,) Martha Rose Jacobs, John Goble, Richard Goble (Wanda), Jimmy Goble, Kathy Walker, and Peggy Oden (James). She also leaves behind 16 adoring grandchildren and 5 generations of love.

Bertha attended Etowah High School and later worked at Gadsden Health Care. She was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and love for her family. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and attended in Gadsden, Al. 

Although she will be dearly missed, Bertha's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Bertha Goble.
