It is with deep sympathy, we announce the passing of Beulah Lee (Tatum) Ragland, who transitioned on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the age of 76. We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Mrs. Beulah Lee Tatum Ragland was born on December 30, 1947, to the late Ms. Marie Ruff and the late Mr. Ernest Tatum, Sr., in Lineville, Alabama.
She resided in Lineville, Alabama, where she married the late Cecil James Ragland, Sr., and through this union, they raised five children. Beulah answered the Master’s call on August 20, 2024, at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation.
She was preceded in death by her late parents, Ms. Marie Ruff and Mr. Ernest Tatum; her husband, Mr. Cecil James Ragland, Sr.; her late sisters, Patricia Ann Tatum and Betty Barnett; and her late brother Ernest Tatum, Jr.
Beulah Lee leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Linda Tatum of Lineville, Alabama, Brinder (Don) Curry of Talladega, Alabama; three sons, Cecil (Yolanda) Ragland, Jr., of Gadsden, Alabama, Lewis Ragland of Lineville, Alabama, Frank (Teresa) Ragland; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Dre) Griffin, of Birmingham, Alabama, Manuella Curry, Doniqua Curry, and Bridon Curry of Talladega, Alabama, Shalonda Ragland of Gadsden, Alabama, Devon Ragland of Columbus, Georgia, and Christopher (Alexis) Ragland of Gadsden, Alabama; two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Alicia Parker of Birmingham, Alabama; siblings, Mary Ann Tatum, Josephine (Jerry) Traylor, Clarence Tatum, Eulene (Herbert) Harrison, and KV Tatum; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
