With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Bobby Ray Hunter of Lineville, who traded time for eternity on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the age of 64.
Bobby Ray Hunter was born on January 16, 1962, in Clay County, Alabama to Mary Ann Bishop.
Prior to his retirement, Bobby was employed as a truck driver and bus driver. He had also been a barber for several years of his life. He loved to play softball and ride motorcycles. He was a gospel singer; his favorite song was, "I Can't Give Up Now" by Lee Williams. He loved children and was a youth leader in the community.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Helen Yvonne Hunter; daughters, Toccara Hunter and Sheena (Brian) Hughley; son, Nicholas (Tarria Echols) Horsley; grandchildren, Tyarie Echols, Harmoni Farrow, Jeziah Hughley and Kyson Hughley; mother, Mary Ann Bishop; siblings, Danny Hunter, Bernard (Nona) Hunter, Tyrone (Mimi) Hunter, Jamie Hunter, and Brandon Hunter and the only sister, Latoya Lockhart, and a host of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends in the Lineville area.
