It is with deep sympathy we announce the passing of Brenda Joyce (Woods) Richardson of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Monday, December 12, 2022, at the age of 62. We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during the difficult time.

Brenda Joyce Woods Richardson was born on September 6, 1960, to Maggie Woods and Alex Brewster in Gadsden, AL.

She accepted Christ at an early age. Brenda graduated from Litchfield High School and attended Gadsden State Community College.

Brenda worked at Cracker Barrel until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; siblings, Catherine Woods, Lazell Isom, and Alex Woods; grandparents, Georgia Woods, and Mr. and Mrs. Summer Brewster.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her special friend, Edwin White; bonus mother, Mattie Brewster; sister, Norresse B. (Amos) Cash; brothers, A. Ray, Tony Almond, Mitchell Brewster, Michael (Harriett) Brewster; bonus sisters, Princess (Joel) Davis, Birdesther Johnson, Dr. Jessica Parker, Jacqulyn (Bobby) Warren, Felecia Parker; special aunt, Rita Brewster, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members, friends, and associates.
