Carolyn Ruth (Lowe) Woods

Mrs. Carolyn Ruth (Lowe) Woods was born on July 22nd, 1948, in Cedar Bluff community, Cherokee County Alabama to the union of Ted Lowe and Lucille Smith. She was educated in the Chattooga and Cherokee County Training Schools and attended Hatcher High School.

Carolyn’s busy life ended on February 2, 2023, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Billy George Woods; daughters, Carol Woods Jones and Teresa Eutsey; siblings, Melinda Smith, Annie L. Covington, Shirley Smith; brother, Robert Lee Smith Jr; grandchildren, Javarious Stubbs, Champagne Stubbs, and Quentin Eutsey.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her loving memories eight loving children, daughters, Jeanette Woods, Lori Ann Powell, LaSonya (Christopher) Stubbs; chosen daughters; Yvonne(O’Shea) Sanders, Cassandra Padilla, Panitha Malone; sons, Billy Wayne Woods, Reginald Woods, Cornelius Woods; chosen son; Avery (Bobbijo) Chambers; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret D. Lowe; sister-in-law’s; Ruby Dean Woods, Julia Woods, Yvonne Woods, Paula(Torrence) Sims, Tammy Woods, Fanny Woods, Jenni Woods
 Son-in-law; Martin Eutsey; Special friend, Janice Prater, Ted (Tammy) Gregerson, Helen (S.J.) Johnson, John (Joy) Clayton, also a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many other friends.
