It is with deep sympathy we announce the passing of Cedric Rayfield Killings of Gadsden, AL, who passed on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the age of 54. We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.
Cedric Rayfield Killings was born on May 5, 1971 to the late Jessie Lee Killings and Ida Florance Woodard-Killings in Talladega, AL.
Cedric was known as big Ced by all his friends, he was a real country boy. Fishing was his favorite thing to do. Fishing was his first love, even after being diagnosed with his health issues it never stopped him from fishing. Sports really wasn’t his thing unless it was football and even then, he only had one love that love was Roll Tide all the way. When you saw Cedric, he never left home without an Alabama ball cap. Cedrick was a kind and loving person to everyone he encountered, leaving a positive impact on everyone that he met. Cedric is one of those people even though he is gone he will never be forgotten.
Cedric is survived by his sisters, Felisa Killings of North Carolina, Alicia Killings of Gadsden, and Muriel Killings of Ragland; brothers, James Killings of Pell City, and Jason Killings of Ragland; bonus son, Graham Campbell of Pell City, and a host of nieces and nephews and other dear friends.
