Mr. Charles Lee McCray was born on May 2, 1962, to the late Jessie McCray (father) and Dorothy McCray (mother) in Cherokee County, Alabama. He accepted Christ at an early age.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and dancing! He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Dorothy McCray; brothers, Oscar Kennon, Donald Driver, and Andy McCray; sisters, Georgia Mae Kennon, Jessie Lee (Wiley) Adams, and Mary Joyce (Robert) Walker; step-son, Adam Drake; niece, Lavora (Lonterry) Harrison; nephew, Detraio (Brionna) Whorton; sister-in-law, Nancy Drake.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Loretta "Retta" McCray of Attalla, AL; loving daughter, Krashanna Marshall of Gadsden, AL; son, Michael Rudolph of Gadsden, AL; sister, Nettie Mae (Sandy) McCray of Attalla, AL; brother, Bobby Andrews of Boston Massachusetts; step-son, Christopher Drake of Chatsworth, GA; brother-in-law, Harold Rutledge of Gaylesville, AL; grandchildren, Ansley "Cotton" Drake, Ridge "Bubba" Drake, and Abigail Koonce all of Summerville, GA; special uncle, Roy "Bo" Driver of Gadsden, AL; special friends, Willie James Russell of Gadsden, AL and Victor Sanchez of Summerville, Ga and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
