It is with heartfelt sympathy we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Chaz DeAndre Harris, 34 of Gadsden, who traded time for eternity on Monday, January 10, 2022.
Chaz DeAndre Harris was born the oldest child of seven to the union of Gregory and Traci Cooper on September 27, 1987, in Gadsden, Alabama. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Historical Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He later attended The New Union Baptist Church, where he remained a member.
Chaz was educated in the Gadsden City School System and graduated Emma Sansom High School, Class of 2006. He later matriculated to Jacksonville State University and the University of Phoenix. He was a lover of music and was a skilled violinist.
Chaz was no stranger to hard work as he held a job since his early teenage years. He began working at Hardee's in 2003 and quickly moved up the corporate ladder to management. He stayed with Hardee's until 2011 when he left to start in management at Wendy's. He worked faithfully and diligently in his position, often working countless hours to make sure no task was left undone.
Chaz's witty sense of humor brought so much laughter to his family, friends, and co-workers. He brightened many lives by crossing our paths and will forever be embedded in our hearts.
