Christy Cheryl Williams

It is with deep sympathy we announce the passing of Christy Cheryl Williams of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the age of 41.  We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during the difficult time.  Services to be announced.

Christy Cheryl Williams was born on December 23, 1980, to Paul and Cheryl Williams.

Christy was baptized at an early age by the late W. H. Granger at Mt Calvary Baptist Church, Attalla, AL. Christy graduated from Etowah High School in 2000. 

Christy truly lived to the fullest, she had an infectious smile and laugh that would light up a room. 

She enjoyed taking care of people, adored children, and was “auntie Christy too many”

She leaves to cherish her memories, parents, Paul and Cheryl Williams; siblings, Daphyne (Patrick) Powell, Alnita Mitchell, Paul (Keisha) Williams; aunts and uncles, Geraldine Majors, Josephine (Benny) Bonner, Mary Martin, Denise Williams, Vera Williams, Louis (Annette) Wilson, Samuel (Ann) Wilson, Ernest Wilson, and Ira G Toles; nieces, Portia Powell, Tatyana Williams, Alexis Williams, Maria Powell; nephews, Shaquille (Brandi) Mitchell, Deontre Mitchell; great-nieces and nephews, Naomi Powell, Aria Powell, Malachi Pinson, Melody Bishop, Harper Worthy, and Adrian Mitchell; special cousins, Trevia West, Michael Williams, Reuben Benson; special friends, Janet (Coot) Davis, Cierra Thomas, Lamar Cooper, Wally, Theo, and Bonnie Powell; special neighbors, Otis & Teresa, and a host of cousins and friends.   “She never met a stranger.”
