With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Clarence Garrett, Jr. of Gadsden, who traded time for eternity on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the age of 54. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers during this time.
Clarence Garrett, Jr. was born on March 8, 1970, to the parents of Millie Daniel and Clarence Garrett, Sr., in Gadsden, Alabama.
Clarence loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also loved to dance all day, try to sing and play the guitar, and watch soap operas, General Hospital, and All My Children.
Clarence was preceded in death by his mother, Millie Daniel; father, Clarence Garrett, Sr.; grandparents, Viola Rogers, Betty Lou Garrett, and Willie Calvin Garrett; brother, Cedric Daniel.
Clarence is survived by his sisters, Myra Williams, and Diane (Kenneth) Malone; nieces, Yolonda Bush, Teresa (Larry) King, and Deanna Malone; nephews, Ivan Bush, Jr., Cornelius Bush, Carl Daniel, and Kenneth Malone, Jr.; aunts, Bobbie Horton, Margaret (ED) Robinson, Annie Akles, Omer Joyce (Willard) Pearson
Sarah West, and Dorothy (Walter) Nunn; four great-nephews; four great-nieces;
special sister-in-law, Janet Daniel; special friends, Pat Marshall and Onelia Smitherman, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
