It is with heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Cynthia Deann Williams of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age 57. We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
Cynthia was born on December 27, 1957, Cynthia was a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Cynthia was a U.S. Army Veteran and a graduate of Jacksonville State University. Cynthia was a proud mother to her son, Tobby (Sharice), and a grandmother, whose love and devotion to her family were felt by all who knew her. She had a special gift for caring for others. Her beautiful smile and warm heart were a constant source of comfort, and she was known for her ability to make everyone feel well.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Simm T. Williams.
She leaves behind her son, Tobby (Sharice) Williams; her mother, Queenie Sconiers; two brothers, Robert Williams of Chiefland, FL and Columbus, Isaac Jr., of Gadsden, AL; three sisters, Linda Williams of Detroit, MI, Katie M. Hawkins, and Omega Williams of Gadsden, AL; one aunt, Thelma Franklin of Detroit, MI; She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever treasure her memory. Throughout her life, Cynthia demonstrated remarkable resilience,
compassion, and generosity. Whether it was offering a helping hand, providing words of comfort, or sharing a moment of laughter, she made a lasting impact on everyone who crossed her path. Her presence will be missed, but her memory will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May Cynthia rest in peace, surrounded
by the love and warmth she so freely shared in life.
