Darain Wayne Fomby, Jr

It is with deep sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Darain Fomby of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Thursday, September 29, 2021, at the age of 27.  We ask that you pray with us and keep Darain's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Darain Wayne Fomby, Jr., was born on May 28, 1994, to Mr. Darain Wayne Fomby, Sr., and Mrs. Loran Groce Fomby in Birmingham, Alabama.

Darain accepted Christ at an early age and united with Pine Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Stafford Rowser, Jr.

He attended school in the Talladega County School System.  Graduated from Lincoln High School.  Class of 2012.

On August 3, 2020, Wayne united in Holy Matrimony to Rodkia Snow, this union blessed him with a daughter, Amari who loved to be right by his side.
He was preced in death by his father, Darain Fomby, Sr.; grandparents, Alice Ruth Fomby, Carl Groce, and Geneva Groce.
He is survived by his wife, Rodkia Snow-Fomby; step-daughter, Amari Snow; mother, Loran Fomby; grandfather, Augustus Beavers; mother-in-law, Aterialene (Terino) Snow; father-in-law, Rodney (Tina) Mack; brothers-in-law, Dominique (Samantha) Snow, and Xavier (Jasmine) Snow; grandparents-in-law, Billy (Charlene) Johnson, Billy (Margaret) Mack; nieces, Vanessa (Alyssa); nephew, JeBrelle Snow; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
