Elijah Junior Billingsley

With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Elijah J. Billingsley of Talladega, AL, who traded time for eternity on Friday, February 18, 2022, at the age of 54. 
Elijah Junior Billingsley was born  September 16, 1967, in Millerville, Clay County, Alabama to the union of Elijah and Luella Billingsley Adair. He was educated in the school system of Clay County and graduated Bibb Graves High School class of 1986. He received Christ at a young age at Miracle Temple in Ashland, AL, under the leadership of Bishop John Sandlin. He later came into the fullness of Christ at House of Deliverance Worship Center, Lineville, under the leadership of his aunt, Bishop Mary Ann Wilson. He served as a lead usher and was dedicated to serving as unto to God.

Elijah knew what it was like to work hard as he started working as a child puck wooding under the tutorage of his father. He worked extended years at Goldkist and finalized his work career at Nemak in Sylacauga.

Elijah loved his family and church family. He enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts, his music, and keeping his cars clean. He was an inspiration to so many from his family, co-workers, friends, and even those strangers he helped along the way 

Elijah's strong loving heart stopped beating Friday, February 18, 2022, at Noland Hospital, Anniston.

Those left to cherish his many memories include his daughter, Ashley (Demetrius) Beck; two granddaughters, Da'Liyah Alree and Rahmiyah Marie Beck, all of Talladega, AL; mother, Min. Luella Billingsley, Ashland, AL; sister, Rochelle (Anthony) Jones, Conswello (Danny) Wilson, Talladega, AL; brothers, James Adair, Millerville, AL, John Jones, Ashland, AL;  six nieces, three nephews; ten great-nieces  and nephews;
aunts, Pauline Billingsley, Ashland, AL, Ethel Mae Dunn, Sylacauga, Odessa Palmer, Ashland, AL, Bishop Mary Ann (David) Wilson, Ashland, AL, Henrietta Smith, Millerville, AL, Phylis Billingsley, New Jersey; uncles, Arthur Adair, Goodwater, AL, Fletcher Billingsley, New Jersey, Jessie Adair, Goodwater, AL;
a host of cousins and friends too numerous to name.
