Erika LaTonya Owens

Erika Latonya Owens, affectionately known as "Tonya", was born September 12, 1971, in Gadsden, Alabama, to James Allen and Sybil Owens.
 
Tonya was educated in the Gadsden City School System, Litchfield High School.

Tonya kept a low profile, and spending quality time with her family and especially her "Phoo". She was a very loving and passionate person. She would light a room and keep you laughing. Tonya was most definitely the best "Car Karaoke Singer."

Tony was preceded in death by her father James Allen Jr.; and brother Reginald Owens; grandmother Pearlie Allen; grandfather James E. Allen Sr.; uncles Ralph Smith and Hush Smith.

Tonya leaves those to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted husband Jonathan Seals; one loving daughter Chyneakqua Byers; sister Jari Allen; brothers, James (Timeka) Muhammad, Jamaka Owens, Kendrick Vaughn, Gerald Smith; grand pup "Moe" and a host of nieces and nephew and other relatives.
