Fred Edward Miller was born on July 17,1939 to the late Earnest Miller Sr. and Channie Miller in Gadsden, Alabama.
He was educated in the Gadsden School System and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was the epitome of a great husband, father and grandfather. Dad always had a smile on his face, everyone who knew him said, "he was the nicest man and very polite." He spoke to everyone.

He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 39 years Annie B. Miller, who he affectionately called "Bell", his parents, six brothers and two sisters.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories four children, Roy (Teresa) Miller Sr., Fay (Tony) Reeves, Linda Jones, Derrick (Connie) Miller; four grandchildren, Roy Miller Jr., Rodney (Leiza)Miller, Brian (Brianne) Jones, Christian (Jessica) Jones; three great granddaughters, Gracie, Meleia, and Aniya; two great grandsons, Aiden and Cayden Jones; two sisters Mary (Leon) Harville, Patricia (Ernest) Williams; two sisters-in-law Mary Penn and Mary Randle; one brother-in-law Johnnie Greathouse, and a host of other relatives and friends.
