George Ragland

Mr. George Ragland was born on September 21, 1940 to the parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crockran in Talladega, Alabama, but raised by his stepmom, Mrs. Ophelia Beavers. George attended school at Talladega County Training School. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He relocated back to Alabama from Cleveland, Ohio in 1984, and later was employed by Walmart in Oxford, Alabama where he worked for eight years. He leaves to cherish his loving memories a loving and devoted wife, Mary Ragland, Gadsden, AL; son, Timothy (Debra) McKinney, Scottsboro, AL; daughter, Kathy Beal, Springfield, OH; four granddaughters, Jowanna Ragland, Melvina Colquitt, and Tonya Beal all of Springfield, OH, Stephanie Cunningham, Columbus, OH; grandson, Calvin Beal, Springfield, OH; special granddaughter, Britney Ragland; Springfield, Oh; three sisters, Betty Simmons, Catherine Collins, both of Talladega, AL, Kathy Dickerson, Cleveland, OH; brother, Charles Beavers, Virginia, and a host of grandchildren, great,grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
