Geraldine (Wilson) Lindsey

It is with deep sympathy, we announce the passing of Geraldine Lindsey of Lineville, AL, who transitioned on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the age of 78.  We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  

Mrs. Geraldine Lindsey began her life's journey on May 4, 1945, to the parentage of the late Enos Wilson and the late Maggie Wilson in Millerville, Alabama. 

     Geraldine confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she served as Youth Director for several years. She later rededicated her life to  Christ and joined the Springhill Baptist Church.

     Geraldine loved people (if she had it you had it). She lived a fulfilling life and enjoyed being with family and friends. She took great pride in cooking and baking, she also had a great love for flowers and gardening. If you had the pleasure of meeting her you couldn't help but love her.

     On Thursday, January 25, 2024, Geraldine left her earthly home to be with the Lord in Heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents Enos and Maggie Wilson; her husband Hubert Lee Lindsey Sr., and daughter Synovia Williamson.

     Her memories will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Mrs. Denettria (James) Echols of Tuscaloosa, Al, Ms. Sonya Lundy of Lineville, Al, Mr. Hubert Lee (Brenda) Lindsey Jr., of Lineville, Al, Mr.  Regis Lindsey of Lineville, Al, Mr. Javaris Lindsey of Lineville, Al and Mrs. Stephanie (Henry) Simmons of Lineville, Al, her sisters; Ms. Bobbie Steed of Ashland, Al, Ms. Ethle Dark of Ashland, Al, 16 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Ms. Bonnie Caldwell, Ms. Beverly Robinson, and Ms. Barbra Lindsey and a host of other family and friends.
