Howard Emanuel Wilson

With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the earthly passing of Howard Emanuel Wilson of Gadsden, AL, who traded time for eternity on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 72.  We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this time. 

Howard Emanuel Wilson age 72 passed on Monday, December 30, 2024. Howard was best known as Bubba. Howard was born on December 1, 1952 to the parents of Samuel Wilson and Juanita Kerley Wilson in Gadsden, AL.
Howard graduated from Emma Sansom High School with the Class of 1972, after graduating Howard decided to go and see the world so he joined the Navy. 
Howard confessed Christ at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church and later joined St. James Catholic Church. 
After fours years he returned home and started working with the City of Gadsden. Howard decided to return to the Navy for another two years and then returned home. 
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, John Samuel Wilson and Juanita Kerley Wilson; sister, Beverly Hickman. 
He is survived by his daughters, Ebony Latoya Wilson, and Jaquese Wilson; two sons, Howard Emananuel Wilson, and Shandon (Krystalyn) Wilson; twelve grandchildren, De'Asia Wilson, Lekeyhedainoa Wilson, La'Briyah Johnson, Brittany Johnson, Hakeem Wilson, Devin Wilson, Zydaja Wilson, Jaylen Wilson, Isabella, Milani, and Dominic Wilson, and Carson Lewis, AL; six great-grandchildren, Taj Armstrong, Sy Wilson, Aje Wilson, Venus Wilson, Dream Wilson, and lnari Stallworth; siblings, Delma (John) Smith, Donna (Tim) Morrow, Timothy (Amy) Wilson and Carla Wilson; nephews and nieces, Amiri (Donna) Hickman, Ali (La Mesha) Smith, Jamal (Sunni) Hickman; Samuel (Stephanie) Smith; special nieces, Carlie B. Williams, Chantel Jackson; aunts and uncles, Helen Kerley, Mary (Nathan) Carter, John (Annie) Kerley, Angel Reid, Josephine Kerley, Lureen Kerely, Jan (Robert) Avery; special cousins, Alice Williams, Jackie (Xavier) Davis, Melcie Pointer, and Cathy Tuck, and numerous great-nephews, nieces and other cousins and friends.
