James Kenneth Loyd

James Kenneth Loyd was born on January 20, 1955 to the parentage of Ruben G. Loyd and Emma L. Garner- Loyd of Gadsden, Alabama.
James was educated through the Gadsden City School System. At the age of twenty-three James enlisted into the United States Army. James had a love for fast driving cars and loved to fix them. He had a love for football and baseball.
James departed this life on April 13, 2023 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ruben G. Loyd and Emma L. Garner-Loyd; brothers Reginald Loyd, , Robert Lloyd of Euclid,OH and Floyd Davenport of Dayton,OH, a very special friend of Thirty years, Ms. Thelma Harris.
James leaves to cherish his loving memories a loving daughter Vanessa Ruffin; son Richard Hunter Sr. ; bonus daughters Amy and Brandi Loyd; grandchildren Deontavious(Ashley) Ruffin, Justin Guice , Kristina Hunter, Camree Guice, ZyDrea Hunter, ZaRiya Hunter,Richard Hunter Jr., Reginald Hunter; great-grandchildren, Justin Jr, Jayceon, Jaylee , Ava and Adalyn Ruffin,Leauna Hodge, Raylyn Hunter; brother Ronald (Sylvia)Loyd,; sister Regina Loyd all of Gadsden, Alabama; a special friend Sarah Hunter , and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
