It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Johnny Abe Jackson, Sr. of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the age of 57. We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Johnny Abe Jackson Sr. Was born on December 23, 1964, in Gadsden, Alabama to Willie Hayes Jackson and Mary Billingsley Jackson.
Johnny accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Gadsden, Alabama.
Johnny was a graduate of Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, Alabama. Johnny was loving and very kind to his family and friends, he loved playing with the grandchildren. He enjoyed watching football his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and Auburn Tigers and he also liked watching basketball his favorite team was the Philadelphia 76ers.
Johnny worked at Tysons doing sanitation for 35 years.
Johnny departed this life on September 21, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Hayes Jackson, and Mary Jackson; brothers, Arthur Leon Jackson, Bobbie Joe Jackson, Larry Jackson, and Allen Lindsey Jackson; sister, Mary Ann Jackson.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories to his sons, Johnny (Stacey) Jackson, Jr., James (Angelicia) Keen; daughters, Aaliyah Ager, Cassandra Keen, and Cekeisha Shepherd; brothers, Willie (Donna) Jackson, Jimmy Lee (Shawnda) Jackson, Frederick (Tootie) Jackson; sister, Christie Watt; sisters-in-law, Sharon Jackson, and Linda Jackson, and many grandkids, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
