Juanita Southerlin Wyatt

With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Juanita Southerlin Wyatt of Turkeytown, who traded time for eternity on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the age of 69.

Juanita Southerlin Wyatt was born on July 16, 1956 to the parents of Joseph Wyatt and Emogene Wyatt in Centre, Alabama.

Juanita was baptized at an early age and was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Turkey Town, AL.  Her early education began at Turkey Town Elementary School and she graduated from Gaston High School. After completing high school, she attended Gadsden State Junior College.
Juanita began her career at Centre Manufacturing in Centre, AL for thirteen years and later retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Gadsden, AL.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Wyatt; mother, Emogene Wyatt; sister, Emma Lou Hardy; brother, Tommy D. Wyatt.

Juanita is  survived by her three children, Joseph C. Wyatt, Oxford, AL, Somer Jean (Peter) Wyatt-Sandridge, Gadsden, AL, and Thomas Ryan Wyatt, Gadsden, AL; four grandchildren, Dezmund De’Sean Sandridge, Brayden Phillips, Kaeli Wyatt, and Haven Wyatt, all of Gadsden, AL; two great-grandchildren, Azelea Rae Phillips, and Kyiere Phillips, Gadsden, AL; three god-children, Avery Chambers, Jarvis Chambers, and Kyonna Baker all of Centre, AL; two sisters, Jacqueline Wyatt and Valerie Wyatt both of Turkey Town, AL; seven brothers, Tony L. (Ann) Wyatt, Turkey Town, AL, Mitchell K. Wyatt, Titusville, FL, Joel K. (Wannica) Wyatt, Harrisburg, PA,  Steven B. Wyatt, Newport News, VA, Jonathan H. Wyatt, Gadsden, AL, Gerald S. Wyatt, Atlanta, GA, and Walter S. Wyatt, Gadsden, AL, and a host of family and friends.
