Katrina Bandia Bass

It is with deep sympathy we announce the passing of Miss Katrina Bandia Bass of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the age of 46.  We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  

Katrina Bass was born December 18, 1975, in Oceanside, Ca., to the parents of Judith Mae Green and Charles Bass. 

Katrina lived a full life as a free-spirited, God-fearing woman.  She enjoyed sports, outdoor activities, trips to the beach, playing dominoes, cracking jokes with everyone, and coming up with new recipes because she loved to cook... above all she loved to brighten your day.

Katrina walked by faith & not by sight. She prayed for everyone daily. Most of all, quality time with her family was the most essential. Her traditions of Laker games and Sunday Football will live on through us with Sunday dinner. 

Katrina was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bass and Judith Green. 

On Monday, September 26, 2022, Katrina accepted her Master's call and traded mortality for immortality.

Undoubtedly the ultimate caregiver, mom gave us everything, humility, and skills.  Like her smile, as it is passed, forever will her torch be lit!  With a legend of children, a growing list of grandchildren, a brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and life-long friends... We will ALL rejoice in our Loving Mother A.K.A "Mama T." 

 Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Katrina Bass, Charles Carlisle,  D’Irie Carlisle, Alayna Bass, Alexis King,  Irving King, Zaire Brown, Dereon Brown, Imani Brown, and Ariah Brown; grandkids, Ka’Liyah Taylor, Dmoor Carlisle, Dmauri Carlisle, Yakari Braxton, DeAnthony Carlisle, Ar’moni Ackey, Jamarea Taylor, and Mariah Carlisle; siblings, Keicha Green, Margaret Green, and Leon Hall; grandparent, Bobbi Dalton and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many dear friends.
