It is with heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Kenneth Beavers of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 71. We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
Mr. Kenneth Beavers was born in Gadsden, Alabama on February 2, 1953 to the late Mr. Willie and Hannah Beavers.
At an early age, he confessed Christ as his savior and was baptized at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. H. J. Hoyt.
Kenneth affectionately known as “Kenny” graduated from Gadsden High School in 1972.
Kenny met the love of his life, Glenda Faye and on July 29, 1983, they were united in Holy Matrimony.
Kenny retired from the USDA with over 20 years of faithful service.
Kenny entered his eternal rest on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Hannah Beavers; an infant son; son, Shawn Childs; sister, Kathy Beavers.
Kenny leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his beautiful wife of 41 years, Glenda Faye Beavers; brother, Bobby (Johnice) Beavers; sister, Janice Beavers; sister-in-law, Janice Brisker, Bonnie Winfrey; children, Lajuana (Anthony) King, Sr., Lenalda Woods, Kimberly Beavers, Felecia (Lando) Beavers; grandchildren, Ciera King, Anthony King, Jr., Chrisma King, Monshon Davis, DJ Coker, Rashard Davis, Jasmine Worthy, John Woods III, Asia Childs, Darrion Rodgers, Miangel Chambers, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
