Leonard Durrell Hood was born January 28,1975 in Cherokee County, Alabama to the late Leonard Sr. and Opal Bell Hood.
Durrell “Pocket” Hood enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, grilling, flirting, talking smack, riding his grandchildren around on his 4- wheeler, rebuilding things, and auburn football. He always kept people laughing and was always willing to help others. He always hit the loop in Slackland, some referred to him as Slackland security.
Rell departed this life on February 17th, 2023 at Floyd Medical Center, Rome, GA. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Leonard Sr. And Opal Bell Hood; grandson, Brayden Collins.
