Louise (Carter) Thomas

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be remembered.  Please join us in mourning the passing of Ms. Louise "Lou" Carter Thomas, of Ashland, AL who traded time for eternity on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the age of 81.  Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Louise Carter Thomas was born on March 24, 1943 to the parents of Joe Bob Carter, Sr., and Lonnie Mae Robinson Carter in Roanoke, Alabama.

Louise married Walter Thomas in September 1954.  

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Thomas; parents, JB and Lonnie Carter; daughters, Patricia Thomas, Terri Ann Thomas.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her special children, Sylvia Collins, Alex City, Eric Thomas, Linevillle, Cindy Thomas(Victor); five grandchildren, Eric Nathan Thomas, Ashland, Jonathan Thomas, Kendall LeeAnn Zackery, Montgomery, Lakeisha Nicole Ford, Jasmine (Silas) Pearson; sisters, brothers and brothers-in-law,  Lucille Gibbons, Bonnie (Jimmy Pat) Barker, Lineville, Joe Bob Carter, Lineville, Brenda (Isaac) Garrett, Childersburg, Brenda (Earl) Esters, Detroit, MI, Julia McLain, Lineville, Pauline Carter, Annie Ruth Garrett, all of Lineville, Clarence (Melissa) Thomas, Alex City, and a host of nieces and nephews.
