A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remebered. Please join us in mourning the passing of Mrs. Mable McAdams, formally Gadsden, AL who traded time for eternally on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the age of 95. Please keep her family in our thoughts and prayers.
On January 14, 1929, Mable McAdams was born to the late Tommie-Minnie Williams in Glencoe, Alabama.
Mable always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She would also spend a lot of hours on the phone talking about the Bible, which was her hobby. She loved watching her cooking shows which is why she was an amazing cook. Her family was always looking forward to tasting her food. Her personality was one that couldn’t be mimicked, so It was easy for her to be respected and loved by her family and friends, to know her was to love her.
Mable departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie A. McAdams of 74 years of marriage; her son, Allen McAdams; her mother, Tommie-Minnie Williams; her sisters, Lenora Williams, Inez Williams, and Dorothy Ingram; brothers, Mason Williams, and Solomon Williams; son-in-law, Darrell Gilson.
Many loving and cherished memories of Mable will be remembered by her sons, Larry (Marian) McAdams, and Donald (Katie) McAdams; daughter, Denise Gilson; grandchildren, Cindy, Tabitha, Philip, Cynthia, Karen, Erica, and Danielle; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, other relatives, and dear friends.
