It is with heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Frances Mack, of Gadsden, AL., who transitioned on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the age of 81. We ask that you please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Ms. Mary Frances Mack was born on September 18, 1942, in Gadsden, Alabama to the union of the late Mr. JM and Bessie Ruth Mack.
Mary (BabySister) accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Galilee Baptist Church, Gadsden, AL. She reunited with Handy Chapel AME later in life. Ms. Mary was educated in Etowah County and Gadsden City School System and graduated from Carver High School class of 1962. After graduating high school she moved to New York to earn her nursing license as a LPN.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, JM and Bessie Ruth Mack of Gadsden, Al; three brothers, James Mack, Sylacauga, Al, Freddie Mack, and Walter Mack.
Mary F. Mack completed the last mile of her journey on this earth on October 26, 2023.
She leaves to cherish her memories her brothers, Jimmy (Frances) Mack, and Billy (Margaret) Mack both of Gadsden, AL; sister-in-law, Irene Mack, Sylacauga, AL; special cousins, Calton and Gary Harp; special niece, Mary Ann Coleman who was like a daughter to her and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that love her dearly.
"For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteousness Judge, will give me on that day and not to me only but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:6-8
