Michael J. Vines

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Michael J. Vines of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the age of 35. We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Services are pending. 

Michael J. Vines was born on August 3, 1986, to the parents of the late Reginald Worthy and Vicki Vines in Gadsden, Alabama.

 He was a graduate of Gadsden High School. 

To know him was to love him.  He was a very fun and charismatic person, he enjoyed watching football, cooking, spending time with his daughter, and spending time with friends and family.  He had a heart of gold and would give a complete stranger the shirt off of his back, he was overall a great person.

 On February 14, 2022 he took his rest to reunite with his loved ones in heaven. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Reginald Worthy; grandparents, Dale Vines, Edna, and Arthur Stallings, Inez and Eugene Worthy; uncle, Tommy Worthy; great aunt, Sandra (NANNA) Stallings.

Michael leaves many loving memories to those who are left behind a daughter, Kylie Dobbins; Chosen Daughter Xamariah,  A loving and devoted, mother, Vickie (Shannon) Martin; chosen father, Earnest Wilson; godparents, Helen (Larry) Poole;  loving granny, Mary Vines; companion, Cekeisha Shepherd; sisters, Quenna Vines, Wanda Vines, Keisha Butler, and Aleah Wilson; brothers, Lafarris Winston, Micheal Palmore, Reginald Worthy, Jr, Kevin Worthy, Timothy Martin, QUintaris; nephews, Demario Davis, Jamarcus Davis, Tamarcus Davis, Tay Butler, Foranya Morris, Jalen Palmore, Roman Worthy; nieces, Teara Wilson, Chloe Winston, Kamya Winston, Jasmine, Riley Worthy, Alijah Worthy, Tykerya Butler; aunts, Josephine Hardin, Fahn Griffie, and Wanda Vines; uncles, David (Hobo) Jackson, Paul (Cheryl) Williams, Charles Allen and a host of many other aunts, uncles, cousins.
