With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Michael Zeigler of Gadsden, who traded time for eternity of Monday, May 5, 2025 at the age of 73.
Mr. Michael Zeigler was born July14,195, to the late Hazel Grady and Henry Zeigler.
He graduated from Lafayette High School. Shortly after he attended community college and took trades such as carpentry and auto mechanic.
In 1970 he began working at Bethlehem Steel Corp for many years until the plant shutdown. Upon returning to Gadsden he started working at Tyson Foods up until he had an injury that cause him to come out permanently.
He enjoyed watching all sports, games shows, fishing, gardening, and grilling.
Michael was preceded in death by mother, Hazel Grady; father, Henry Zeigler; sister, Barbara Zeigler; brothers, Ronald Zeigler, Henry Zeigler, Tommy Zeigler and Timonty Chatmon.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his children, Octavia Jones, Gadsden, AL, Michael Zeigler, Gadsden, AL, Venita Zeigler and Bobby Dade; grandchildren, Zylen Williams and Chozzen Butler; sisters, Hope Phillips, Gadsden, AL, Clora (Jimmy) Chatmon, Nora (Cleo) Caddele Buffalo,NY. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special friend Sonya Thomas
