With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Mya Bell Christopher of Gadsden, who traded time for eternity on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the age of 12.

Mya Bell Christopher was born on March 17, 2014 to Leslie Denise Wilson and Corderious Raydell Christopher in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama.

She attended Adams Elementary and Litchfield Middle School.  Mya enjoyed coloring, saltwater swimming and loved Vowel Bat and Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round.

Mya departed  this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

She is survived by her parents, Leslie Wilson and Corderious (Jamila) Christopher; siblings, Rha' Kiya Christopher, Nila Christopher, and Mason Christopher; grandparents, Dennis (Patricia) Christopher, Merlene Christopher, all of Gadsden; great-grandmother, Corrine Christopher, Anniston, AL; aunts and uncles, Tiffany Wilson, Frances Wilson, Southside, AL, Chaz Christopher, Gadsden, AL, and a host of great uncles and aunts, cousins and other relatives.
