Randy Louis Lawson

It is with deep sympathy, we announce the passing of Randy Louis "Doc" Lawson of Lineville, AL, who passed on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the age of 73.  We ask that you keep his friend and family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Mr. Randy “Doc” Lawson was born on November 24, 1949, in Anniston, AL to Charlie Lawson and Lizzie Esters.

Randy confessed Christ at an early age and later joined Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Lineville, AL.

Randy was a student and graduate of Clay County Training School.

Randy was a faithful employee at Gulf Shores until he became ill.

On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, he transitioned to his new home to live with Jesus Christ.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, mother, and two brothers, Tim and Michael; grandmother, Pearl Traylor.

Memories of Randy will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Judy Lawson; daughters, Angela (Ojay) Moon, Goodwater, AL, Bridgette Lawson, Lineville, AL, Rhonda Myree, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Linda Lawson and Delois Teague, both of Detroit, Michigan; brother, Earl (Brenda) Esters, Detroit, Michigan; six grandchildren, Monica Poole (Elliott Hall), Katrina (Kendall) Wilson, Tyneshia Turman (Endaegaw Whetstone), Ebone (Orlando) Amaro, Lewis Ahmad Borders, and Kendall Myree; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
