Rebecca Ann Zackery Watts was born on September 16, 1949, to the union of Thodus Zackery and Myritis Lindsey Zackery in Ashland, Alabama.
She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Clay County Training School.
Rebecca loved her family dearly and enjoyed caring for her grandchildren as they were growing up. She was now loving and caring for her great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. There was never a time she didn't have someone to love and care for. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking and eating with her family. She was happy when a grandchild or nephew would take her riding or to a fishpond. She also enjoyed going to church and being with her church family.
Rebecca leaves to cherish her memory her very special friend, Walter Griffin; beloved daughter, Allison (Gerald) Harris; very special daughter, Jacqueline Patterson; grandchildren, Ebony Zackery, Dezmond (Whitney) Ackles, and Donavon Harris; great-grandchildren, D'Ivyonna Wood, Jai'Vyonna Jones, Kaysen Ackles, and Ryder Burton; sisters, Maudine Sims and Helen Zackey; brother, Grady Zackery; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
