With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Robert Ellis "The Rock" Fleming of Ashland, who traded time for eternity on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the age of 54.
Robert Ellis "The Rock" Fleming was born May 16, 1970, in Ashland, Alabama to George Ellis Fleming, Sr. and Margaret Ann Caldwell.
Robert worked as a logger. He was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, watching movies, cutting grass, and cooking.
Robert departed this earthly life on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Ellis Fleming, Sr., and Margaret Ann Caldwell; three sisters, Mary Lee Caldwell, Margaret Ann Caldwell, and Linda Caldwell; five brothers, Jimmy Caldwell, Willie Lee Caldwell, Terry Boyd, Willie Scott Fleming, and Wilson Caldwell.
Those left behind to cherish his memories include two daughters, Sharon Caldwell of Lineville, and Jalyric Fleming of Ashland; six sisters, Linda Fleming (Steve) of Ashland, Lorene (John) Lyles of Ashland, Brenda (Earl) Esters of Detroit, MI, Angie Beamon of Ashland, Glenda Caldwell of Roanoke, and Nancy Thomas of Ashland; five brothers, Edward Ray (Miyana) Fleming of Ashland, George Fleming, Jr., of Millerville, Walter Nunn of Ashland, Cecil Ray Caldwell of Lineville, and George Knight of Ashland; aunts, Ruth Fleming, Sharon Garrett, and Annie Brown, all of Lineville, and a host of nieces and nephews.
