Robert Louis Stephens

It is with deep sympathy, that we announce the passing of Robert L. Stephens of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the age of 62.  We ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Robert L. Stephens was born on May 30, 1961, in Gadsden, Alabama to the parents of John Stephens and Joyce Stephens.

Robert was a 1979 graduate of Emma Sansom High School.  After graduating, he joined the U. S. Marine Corps.  Robert enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, anytime with them was special.  Time was precious to him, he valued every minute.  He also loved to play cards, eat at new restaurants, and grill out, he also loved to sit outside for hours.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents John and Joyce Stephens; brother, Steve Stephens; sister, Yasmin Stephens.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Emily (Blaine) Minyard and Brooklyn Stephens; grandchildren, Bayleigh, Levi, Destiny, Channing, Aibl, and Emery Minyard; sister, Yolande Justice and a host of nieces and nephews.
